Following comments and suggestions from the last few sales, these are the most recent changes:

• Unlike at previous sales the branch has also decided to separate processing of sales tickets from the day, in order to allow branch volunteers to help on ‘the floor’.  All cheques will be issued to sellers as soon as possible after the sale and sent by 1^st class post.

• Due to a reduced branch team ALL sellers will be required to help at the sale, or send someone to represent them.  Our sales require an enormous amount of work to run smoothly and help from sellers is vital.  The benefit of helping is that you can keep an eye on your own items and any queries (such as lost labels or misplaced items) can be rectified on the day. There are two time slots from which to choose later on the form, but of course, if you are able to help for the whole sale, this would be greatly appreciated.

• Sellers must sign in between 8am and 8.30am on the morning on the sale.  There will be absolutely no signing in after 8.30am as we need time to get the items for sale out on display before the sale starts.  People arriving after 8.30am to sign in will be turned away, so please make sure you arrive in good time to avoid disappointment.

• The maximum number of CLOTHING items that any one seller can sell is 55. By restricting the amount of clothing at the sale, we found that sellers put their very best items in to sell which raised the quality and meant that the rails were not too full. Sellers also sold much more than they had previously.  Those bringing more than 55 items of clothing will have the first 55 displayed and the remainder will stay in their box and will remain unsold.  The number of TOYS AND BULKY items will NOT be restricted.
